Argument 💬
This art was propelled by a series of impulsive desires that sought excessive consumption and achievements in activities, substances, and relationships, which throughout the process proved to be anxious and neurotic. This subjective process finds correlates in society and the environment, causing class conflicts, excessive consumption/exploitation, and subsequent resource deficit. We will only be able to act in an ecologically sustainable manner - as proposed by Guattari's ecosophy - when the neuroses and ghosts of these three spheres (social, environmental, and subjective) are integratively addressed, and perhaps this can be achieved through the poetics. Well, here lies my therapy and contribution.
Technic 🖌️
This digital painting was developed with the objective of emulating specific textures of each surface through various brushstrokes; generating a sense of spirality through the twisting and bending of objects; creating spatiality and a suffocating environment through dark and warm colors, as well as highlighting the energy, in the form of heat and movement, in the incidence of light on the surfaces.
